Floral birthday card

 Today’s card was made with gelatos. I rarely use my gelatos because usually the colors come out pretty subdued when I use water on them. However, this time I think it worked very well with the effect I was trying to achieve. 

I wanted the colors from the flowers and leaves to bleed into the negative space and just sort of create a colorful background. 

The flowers were hand-drawn with pencil, then with pigma micron pens. And then I just smeared gelatos all over the place and went to work with a wet paintbrush. Just ran it all over blending the colors into each other. And voila!!! ❤️
